Claudia González Godoy (Chile, 1983) es artista medial independiente y gestora de proyectos educativos en arte y tecnología. Su obra se centra en la noción de materialidad de soportes tecnológicos tanto analógicos como digitales, así como en el comportamiento de los materiales en el tiempo y su manifestación en la dimensión del sonido. A lo largo de su carrera, ha explorado las relaciones entre arte, ciencia, naturaleza y tecnología, tanto en su labor como artista y docente. Desarrollando metodologías de trabajo, investigación y producción centradas en el agua, los ríos y la tierra. A partir de allí, vincula el objeto tecnológico como medio para explorar sus intereses en la ecología al experimentar con materias minerales, orgánicas, electrónica y sonido para propiciar experiencias de colaboración interdisciplinaria entre la arquitectura, el arte y las humanidades ambientales.
Su obra forma parte de colecciones nacionales e internacionales de instituciones como el MINCAP Chile, ifa Gallery y ZKM Karlsruhe en Alemania. Claudia ha participado en diversos encuentros, exposiciones, festivales y bienales internacionales, como en ZKM, ifa Gallery, Bienal de Artes Mediales, Tsonami, FILE (Brasil), LIWOLI (Austria), SOL (España), EEII (Croacia), Sudex (Argentina), y ha dictado talleres y charlas sobre Arte, Open Hardware, experimentación electrónica y Cultura DIY.

Claudia González trabaja como artista independiente, recientemente se desempeñó como Coordinadora de la unidad de Anilla del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la Universidad de Chile y actualmente es Coordinadora del área de oficios gráficos del Museo Taller.

EN//Claudia González Godoy (Chile, 1983) is an independent media artist and educator in art and technology projects. Her work focuses on the notion of materiality in both analog and digital technological mediums, as well as the behavior of materials over time and their manifestation in the realm of sound.
Throughout her career, she has explored the relationships between art, science, nature, and technology, both as an artist and as a teacher. She has developed methodologies for work, research, and production centered around water, rivers, and the earth. From there, she connects technological objects as a means to explore her interests in ecology, experimenting with mineral, organic, electronic, and sound materials to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between architecture, art, and environmental humanities.
Her work is part of national and international collections in institutions such as MINCAP Chile, ifa Gallery, and ZKM Karlsruhe in Germany. Claudia has participated in various international encounters, exhibitions, festivals, and biennials, including ZKM, ifa Gallery, Bienal de Artes Mediales, Tsonami, FILE (Brazil), LIWOLI (Austria), SOL (Spain), EEII (Croatia), Sudex (Argentina), and has conducted workshops and lectures on Art, Open Hardware, electronic experimentation, and DIY culture.

Claudia González works as an independent artist. She recently served as the Coordinator of the Anilla unit at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of Chile MAC, and she is currently the Coordinator of the graphic arts area at Museo Taller.
